What Is NEAR Intents in Gem Wallet?
What Is NEAR Intents?â
NEAR Intents is an intent-based swap network. Instead of choosing a route yourself, you state the result you want, and solvers compete to deliver it. Gem Wallet sends your deposit to a one-time NEAR Intents deposit address.
You don't select NEAR Intents yourself. When you swap, Gem Wallet compares quotes from all supported swap providers and shows NEAR Intents when it offers a route for your pair. The provider is shown on the swap screen before you confirm.
Supported Networksâ
Gem Wallet uses NEAR Intents for cross-chain swaps between: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Sui, TON, TRON, NEAR, Aptos, Cardano, Stellar, XRP Ledger, Zcash, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Dash, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche C-Chain, Gnosis, Berachain, Monad, Abstract, Plasma, X Layer, Robinhood Chain, and HyperCore spot USDC (source only).
Assets: Each network's coin plus supported stablecoins and tokens. See How to Swap HyperCore Spot USDC for the HyperCore route.
A pair only appears when the provider returns a live quote for it. Liquidity, amount limits, and route availability can change at any time.
Refundsâ
If a swap can't be filled, NEAR Intents refunds the deposit to your address on the source network. Deposits that fail are handled manually by the NEAR Intents team and can take longer to settle.
Track a NEAR Intents Swapâ
- Open the swap in Activity.
- The status shows Pending while NEAR Intents completes the swap, then Completed, Refunded, or Failed.
- Open the transaction details and use the NEAR Intents Explorer link to follow the swap on explorer.near-intents.org.
For what each status means and how long to wait, see What Do Cross-Chain Swap Statuses Mean?. If the swap was refunded, see What Does a Refunded Cross-Chain Swap Mean?.
Need Help With a Swap?â
Contact Gem Wallet support from Settings > Support in the app, and include the transaction ID of your swap. Before you share anything, read What Information Is Safe to Give Wallet Support?.
Gem Wallet support will never send you a direct message first, ask for your Secret Phrase or private key, or ask you to send funds to "fix" a swap. Anyone who does is a scammer.
