What Is Hyperliquid in Gem Wallet?
What Is Hyperliquid?â
Hyperliquid runs two connected networks: HyperCore, its on-chain order book, and HyperEVM, its EVM network. Gem Wallet uses Hyperliquid for spot swaps on HyperCore and for moving assets between HyperCore and HyperEVM.
You don't select Hyperliquid yourself. When you swap, Gem Wallet compares quotes from all supported swap providers and shows Hyperliquid when it offers a route for your pair. The provider is shown on the swap screen before you confirm.
Supported Networksâ
Gem Wallet uses Hyperliquid for cross-chain swaps between: HyperCore and HyperEVM.
Assets: HYPE, USDC, and spot tokens listed on HyperCore.
A pair only appears when the provider returns a live quote for it. Liquidity, amount limits, and route availability can change at any time.
For moving HYPE between HyperCore, HyperEVM, and staking, see Transferring HYPE Tokens. For swapping HyperCore spot USDC to other networks, see How to Swap HyperCore Spot USDC.
Track a Hyperliquid Swapâ
- Open the swap in Activity.
- The status shows Pending while Hyperliquid completes the swap, then Completed, Refunded, or Failed.
- Open the transaction details and use the Hyperliquid explorer link to follow the swap on the Hyperliquid explorer.
For what each status means and how long to wait, see What Do Cross-Chain Swap Statuses Mean?. If the swap was refunded, see What Does a Refunded Cross-Chain Swap Mean?.
Need Help With a Swap?â
Contact Gem Wallet support from Settings > Support in the app, and include the transaction ID of your swap. Before you share anything, read What Information Is Safe to Give Wallet Support?.
Gem Wallet support will never send you a direct message first, ask for your Secret Phrase or private key, or ask you to send funds to "fix" a swap. Anyone who does is a scammer.
