How to Swap HyperCore Spot USDC

Gem Wallet can use NEAR Intents to swap USDC from your HyperCore spot balance to a supported asset on another network. This is a source-only route: HyperCore spot USDC can fund the swap, but NEAR Intents does not deliver the destination asset to HyperCore.

important

This route uses spot USDC, not the USDC balance assigned to perpetuals. If your USDC is in perpetuals, move it to your spot balance before starting the swap.

Before You Start

Make sure that:

  • The selected Gem Wallet contains USDC in its HyperCore spot balance.
  • The destination wallet and asset are enabled in Gem Wallet.
  • You have a stable internet connection and the latest available version of Gem Wallet.
  • You review the live quote instead of relying on a previously displayed amount.

Provider and route availability depends on the selected destination, minimum amount, liquidity, and current quote conditions.

Swap HyperCore Spot USDC

You can reproduce the available route without submitting a transaction. Follow the steps below and stop before the final confirmation if you only want to verify that a quote is available.

  1. Open Gem Wallet and select the wallet that holds your HyperCore spot USDC.
  2. Tap Swap.
  3. Select USDC on HyperCore as the asset you are paying.
  4. Select the asset and network you want to receive.
  5. Enter the amount of USDC to swap.
  6. Open the provider details and check whether NEAR Intents returned a quote.
  7. Review the provider, destination network, estimated receiving amount, minimum received amount, network fee, and slippage.
  8. Tap Continue and review the final transaction details.
  9. Confirm only after verifying every detail.

Gem Wallet obtains a fresh quote before the swap is signed. HyperCore uses the exact input amount returned by the provider, and the provider deducts its deposit fee from that amount. The amount on the final confirmation screen is the amount you authorize.

Why Can't I Select HyperCore as the Destination?

NEAR Intents supports HyperCore spot USDC as a source only in Gem Wallet. A NEAR Intents transfer to HyperCore would deliver USDC to the account's perpetuals balance rather than the wallet's spot asset, so Gem Wallet excludes HyperCore destinations for this provider.

Choose another supported destination network. For routes within the Hyperliquid ecosystem, Gem Wallet may show a different provider when a live route is available.

What Happens After Confirmation?

The source transaction is submitted from your HyperCore spot balance, then NEAR Intents fulfills the cross-chain route. The swap can move through Pending, In Transit, and Confirmed states while the source and destination networks process it.

To investigate a delay:

  1. Open the swap in your transaction history.
  2. Copy the source transaction hash or provider deposit address when available.
  3. Check the route on the NEAR Intents Explorer.
  4. Confirm that the destination address, asset, and network match your order.

Do not repeat the swap while the first route is still active. For more checks, see Why Is My Swap Still Pending or In Transit? and What Are Cross-Chain Swaps?.
