How to Connect Gem Wallet to TRON DApps

Select a TRON DApp

Visit a TRON dApp that explicitly supports WalletConnect. This guide uses the JustLend DAO lending protocol as an example. Open the official JustLend DAO website, then tap Connect Wallet.

tip

Wallet connection options vary by dApp and may change over time. Before continuing, verify that you are on the dApp's official website and that WalletConnect is one of its supported connection methods.

Open JustLend DAO Choose WalletConnect on JustLend DAO

Select WalletConnect to display the connection QR code. If JustLend DAO and Gem Wallet are on the same mobile device, tap Copy link. If the dApp is open on another device, scan the QR code from Gem Wallet > Settings > WalletConnect.

Copy or scan the JustLend DAO WalletConnect link

Confirm the Connection in Gem Wallet

For a copied link, open Gem Wallet, go to Settings > WalletConnect, tap Paste, and allow Gem Wallet to paste the URI when your device asks for permission.

Gem Wallet will show a connection request. Review the dApp name, website, selected wallet, connection type, and requested permissions. Make sure the status is Verified, then tap Confirm only if all details are correct.

Paste a WalletConnect link in Gem Wallet Confirm the verified JustLend DAO connection

warning

Always verify the dApp's website address before confirming. Connecting to a fake or phishing website may put your assets at risk. A connection alone does not authorize every transaction, so continue reviewing each request before approving it.

Successfully Connected to a TRON DApp

After confirming, return to JustLend DAO. Your connected TRON address can now interact with the protocol. You can also open Settings > WalletConnect in Gem Wallet to view the active session.

Congratulations, you have successfully connected Gem Wallet to a TRON dApp.

warning

Only approve the request if it matches the action you submitted on JustLend DAO. Cancel unexpected requests or requests with details you do not recognize.

Verify the Supplied Position

After approval, return to JustLend DAO. Check the successful transaction message, then open My Position to verify the amount of supplied TRX and the current vault details.

note

DeFi yields and APYs can change. Supplying assets to a protocol involves smart contract and market risks. Review the protocol and transaction details before proceeding.

How to Disconnect a TRON DApp

Open Gem Wallet > Settings > WalletConnect, select the session you want to close, and tap Disconnect. Disconnect sessions you no longer use to remove the dApp's active connection to your wallet.
