How to Connect Gem Wallet to Sui DApps

Select a Sui DApp

Visit a Sui dApp that explicitly supports WalletConnect. This guide uses the Bluefin decentralized exchange as an example. Open the official Bluefin website, then tap Connect.

tip

Wallet connection options vary by dApp and may change over time. Before continuing, verify that you are on the dApp's official website and that WalletConnect is one of its supported connection methods.

Open the Bluefin trading page Choose WalletConnect on Bluefin

Select Gem Wallet

Tap WalletConnect to open the complete wallet list. Find and select Gem Wallet.

If the dApp and Gem Wallet are on the same mobile device, follow the prompt to open Gem Wallet. If the dApp is open on another device, scan its WalletConnect QR code from Gem Wallet > Settings > WalletConnect.

Select Gem Wallet from the WalletConnect list

Confirm the Connection in Gem Wallet

Gem Wallet will show a connection request. Review the dApp name, website, selected wallet, connection type, and requested permissions. Make sure the status is Verified, then tap Confirm only if all details are correct.

warning

Always verify the dApp's website address before confirming. Connecting to a fake or phishing website may put your assets at risk. A connection alone does not authorize every transaction, so continue reviewing each request before approving it.

Successfully Connected to a Sui DApp

After confirming, return to Bluefin. Your connected Sui address and portfolio will appear in the dApp. You can also open Settings > WalletConnect in Gem Wallet to view the active Bluefin session.

Congratulations, you have successfully connected Gem Wallet to a Sui dApp.
