How to Hide, Show, and Pin Tokens in Gem Wallet
How the Token List Worksâ
Your wallet screen lists the tokens that are turned on for the selected wallet. Pinned tokens come first, then the rest by value.
Hiding a token only changes what you see. The token stays on the blockchain, its balance is unchanged, and you can show it again at any time.
Hide a Tokenâ
Use either of these:
- Press and hold the token on the wallet screen, then tap Hide.
- On iPhone and iPad, swipe left on the token and tap Hide.
Gem Wallet shows Hidden from wallet. A hidden token:
- Disappears from your wallet screen.
- No longer counts toward your wallet total. See Why Is a Token's Value Missing or Not in My Total?
- Keeps its data, so turning it back on shows its balance and history again.
Hide spam or scam tokens you didn't ask for. Don't try to sell, swap, or send them, and don't visit links in their names.
Show a Hidden Tokenâ
- Tap Manage at the bottom of the token list on the wallet screen.
- Find the token in Manage Tokens. Use search, or the Has balance filter to see only tokens you hold.
- Turn the token on.
You can also search for a token from the wallet screen and tap Add to wallet when it's not in your list.
Pin a Tokenâ
Pinned tokens stay at the top of your wallet screen, above the rest.
- Press and hold the token, then tap Pin.
- On iPhone and iPad, you can also swipe right on the token and tap Pin.
- You can also pin a token from its own screen.
Gem Wallet shows Pinned with the token's name. To unpin it, do the same and tap Unpin.
Add a Token That Isn't in the Listâ
