Feature Availability by Region
Some features in Gem Wallet are not available in every country or region. Availability depends on local rules and requirements set by service providers.
Why Are Some Features Unavailable?â
Buying, selling, swaps, perpetuals, and rewards can have different regional restrictions. Different providers also support different countries, so availability can vary within the same feature.
Support may change as regional rules or provider requirements change.

How Is My Region Determined?â
Gem uses the IP address of your internet connection to determine a region. It does not use your device's GPS location.
VPNs, proxies, and mobile networks can affect the detected region, so it may differ from where you are.
What If My Region Appears Incorrect?â
Check your network settings and try again. If the message persists unexpectedly, open Settings > Support in Gem Wallet.
