What is opBNB?​

  • opBNB is designed as a Layer 2 scaling solution for the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) powered by bedrock version of Optimism OP Stack. .

  • opBNB uses Optimistic Rollup technology to bundle multiple transactions off-chain and submit them as a single batch to the main Binance Smart Chain.

  • Optimistic Rollup allows opBNB to achieve significantly higher transaction throughput compared to the BSC main chain and supports up to 5,000 transactions per second.

  • Users interact with the opBNB network by depositing funds from BSC and using applications and contracts on opBNB.
